YATA Montenegro is a very important pillar of the Atlantic Council of Montenegro (ACM), with its young members who participate in many activities in the country and abroad. YATA Montenegro members are often published in international publications as well as in the Security Magazine, published by the ACM.
Humanitarian activities are very important within YATA Montenegro, which strives to also be a socially responsible organization. Those activities include volunteering with the Red Cross of Montenegro and different private and state institutions. Within our chapter, we formed a team that has passed an Emergency Management Response Training Course and is now well trained to act in any dangerous situation.
YATA Montenegro is also actively engaged in the organization and implementation of the 2BS – To Be Secure Forum. 2BS Forum is an annual high-level politico-security forum, which deals with issues of global, Euro-Atlantic and security in SEE.
YATA Montenegro puts great efforts into strengthening the bond among its members through social, educational and informal activities, such as: rock climbing, rafting, aikido training, first aid course, sailing, organizing private gatherings, trainings with Army of Montenegro and Special Anti-terrorist Unit of the Police of Montenegro etc. YATA Montenegro is strengthening domestic and international bonds as well. Twice a month we are organizing informal meetings with ambassadors, representatives of political parties, experts and academicians.
